Kalvi Trust celebrated Pongal and conducted games with Staffs of KK Nagar Branch. Pongal is one of the most popular harvest festival of South India, mainly Tamil Nadu. Pongal falls in the mid-January every year and marks the auspicious beginning of Uttarayan - sun's journey northwards. KALVi celebrated Pongal festival at K.K Nagar Office on14th January 2019. Celebrations include drawing of Kolam, swinging & cooking of delicious Pongal. Our KALVI staffs celebrated Pongal in a traditional way by preparing ‘Pongal’ in mud pot with all religious traits and performed special Pooja.
