Kalvi Global School along with Kalvi trust organised a rally to insist the importance of plastic free environment and ‘0’ Plastic Campaign. The main purpose behind this noble rally is to support the government initiative “Creating plastic free compound.” To start with Mr. M. Andrews, Leading anchor of Vijay TV, Mr. Ayyar, Sub inspector of police, Sholavandhan, Dr.P.S. Hari Krishna Raj, AGM of NABARD, Mr. Francis Xavier, relationship manager of kalvi trust and Ms. Jude jeya seeli, Vice principal of Kalvi Global school lit the lamp and inaugurated the event. Followed by Mr. S. Francis Xavier explained about the Bring Your Own Bag “BYOB” campaign. We launched the BYOB (Bring your own bag) campaign to insist the concept of carrying our own bags to shops. BYOB campaign has been launched by Mr. M. Andrews. Kalvi trust's IEC material on 3R's (Reuse, Reduce, Recycle) has been launched by Dr. P.S. Hari Krishna Raj. , AGM of NABARD. And Mr. S. Kanagaraj, Manager of Canara Bank Sholavandhan Branch initiated the process of collecting plastic bags. Significant Agenda of the event: · Mr. M.
