Aim of the programme

Distance education programme of Kalvi Trust has its link with various reputed education universities and they are focusing on the youth drop-outs and facilitating them proper counselling and scholarship support to continue their education and have a better job and self-reliant.

Programme overview

Nowadays, Youth from the poor background were drop-out with their education stream with higher secondary is mainly because of financial background and lack of knowledge about the opportunities. Since they are becoming responsible to support their family income, the drop-out from their education and started to go for labour, unskilled work or for a low profile jobs. The key issue is that, the youths were unaware about the opportunities available with the mainstream institutions and they are not valued the importance of education due to the family and circumstances. Hence this program of Kalvi Trust is help to identified those youths and support and mainstream their education through distance education and also support them to avail scholarship opportunities.

Kalvi Trust has its network of distance education centres of various universities, thus the identified members from the kalvi working locations where undergone councils and motivation about the opportunities and carrier guidance were given. Further, they will be facilitate to take over courses according to their needs through distance education, classes for the courses were also organised by kalvi and tests also facilitated. Kalvi also has their responsibility of getting the certificates of students promptly. Kalvi has its own wing and team for working on kalvi distance.
